Perched above the ocean at Wategos Beach in Byron Bay, Este Wategos are two luxury residences set within a finely resolved dual-occupancy site.

Developed in collaboration with SLa, FMD Architects was commissioned to style the interiors for the project. Drawing from its immediate surroundings combining materiality, light and furnishings to create a seamless dialogue between the coastal landscape and the home’s quietly luxurious architecture.

The residence was designed as a retreat that can house a large number of guests for entertaining and extended stays.​ Now available for short-term rental, the residence offers an ultimate holiday escape, combining considered design with an unparalleled coastal setting.
